First of all, thank you to everyone who came out for Drunk (Romance) History at East City Bookshop to celebrate the release of UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS! It was a delightful evening with delightful people, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the community that everyone at the shop has created.
And thank you to everyone who has picked up, read, and/or reviewed the book. It makes me so so happy to see people enjoying the weird little words about weird little people who have weird little feelings. It means everything to me.
Okay kids! I was going to do an F1 serial, and I still definitely might do an F1 serial, but that also definitely might come out in another format. But I do want to publish original fiction here, so I’m starting with a novella I published last October as part of the Happily Ever Collective. The story is no longer available there, and it will only be available here. On this Substack.
It’s only a little bit spooky, but it’s more than a little sexy. I think you’ll enjoy it.
Here’s the blurb:
Samantha Forsythe keeps to herself. As an empath, she can’t spend too much of her time in the company of others. But her beloved, yet wayward, sister has gone missing, and the only person who can help her is her ex-boyfriend the head wolf in charge—Titus Lycus. They might not be together anymore, but she knows that he would lay down his life to keep her safe.
Titus Lycus was destroyed by Samantha leaving the first time, and she makes it clear that she’s not coming back with him permanently when she asks him for help locating her sister. That means that he only has one night at the infamous werewolf sex club, Mac Tíre, to convince her to give him another chance to be the mate she needs.
But the world of werewolves on the full moon is a sexy but dangerous place, and Titus might not be able to keep his promise that Samantha can leave it when the night is over.
